Gorgeous Purebred Irish Setter Puppies. Born on the 22nd of Jan 2025. Litter of 10; 6 boys and 4 girls. This is Nova’s Second and Last Litter. All pups are very healthy and well looked after.

Parents (Loki and Nova) are both Irish Setters and were imported from Ireland late 2021 when we moved to New Zealand. Both dogs come from different lines of a reputable breeder in County Laois.

The Irish setter is a highly affectionate family dog.

They are a very energetic breed and have a high demand for physical ‘off the lead’ exercise. They are a very affectionate dog and do well with plenty of interaction. Irish setters were bred as a gun dog for bird hunting, so they have a natural tendency to set and point on birds when you are out walking (or hunting).

They can be mischievous if not given enough exercise and attention but contrary to popular belief they are actually very intelligent dogs and highly trainable provided they’re getting their exercise requirements. They are well tempered and very passive around humans and other animals – but as with all dogs proper socialising should be a priority.

Puppies will be wormed, have their first round of vaccinations done which are required at 8/10/12 weeks.
